Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in West Valley City, Utah

At Physical Concepts Training Center, we believe Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone. Whether you're stepping onto the mats for the first time or have been training for years, our goal is to help you improve, challenge yourself, and enjoy the process.

We're a family-oriented gym where you're more than just another person on the mats. We focus on quality instruction, personal attention, and creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace.

No long-term contracts. No pressure. Just good training.

Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Our adult program offers both gi and no-gi training, giving students the opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Gi Training — Monday & Wednesday

Gi classes focus on developing technique, control, positioning, and submissions while learning how to use grips and the uniform to your advantage.

No-Gi Training — Tuesday & Thursday

No-gi classes focus on movement, body control, positioning, and submissions without relying on grips from the uniform.

Both classes emphasize learning the fundamentals, understanding why techniques work, and applying them through controlled training and live sparring.

Never Trained Before? No Problem.

Everyone starts somewhere.

You don't need to be in shape, have experience, or know anything about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to get started. That's what we're here for.

We understand that walking into a new gym can be intimidating. That's why we do our best to create a welcoming environment where beginners can ask questions, learn the basics, and build confidence without feeling overwhelmed.

Our classes are designed to challenge you while allowing you to progress at your own pace.

A Different Kind of Training Environment

We're not the biggest gym, and we're okay with that.

At Physical Concepts Training Center, we value the relationships we build just as much as the skills we develop. Our smaller classes allow us to spend more time working with students, answering questions, and helping everyone improve.

Whether your goal is to learn self-defense, get in better shape, compete, or simply find something you enjoy doing, there's a place for you here.

We take our training seriously, but we don't believe the environment needs to be intimidating.
